IT for Utah hospitality that never really closes

Card payments, guest WiFi, cameras, and a front desk or dining room that runs every hour you are open. We manage the whole stack and keep it compliant, whichever side of hospitality you run.

A small team answers, not a call center.

Hospitality covers more ground than the word suggests: a ski lodge, a hotel, a restaurant, a bar. What they share is a business that runs every hour it is open, on more different systems than most offices twice the size, and a stream of card payments that carries a compliance obligation with it.

Property management or POS, guest WiFi across a space that was never designed for it, cameras, door locks, menu boards, and phones. All of it has to work through weekends, holidays, and the busiest nights of the year. Card payments add the harder layer: PCI DSS 4.0 is the current version of the card industry's security standard, and it expects network segmentation, current systems, and documented controls. The questionnaire is easy to sign and hard to sign truthfully.

The businesses we work with usually have capable staff and no dedicated IT. Technology decisions were made one at a time over many years, by different vendors who never talked to each other. One network design replaces the patchwork, whether the front line is a check-in desk or a dinner rush.

What we do about it

PCI DSS 4.0 compliance work

PCI DSS is the card industry’s security standard, and version 4.0 raised the bar. We remediate audit findings, maintain the required controls, and help you answer the questionnaire honestly, whether the card reader is at a front desk or a table.

Network segmentation for POS

Payment systems belong on their own isolated network, away from guest WiFi and back-office machines. We design and maintain that separation. It is the core of PCI scope control.

Guest WiFi that holds up

Full coverage built on UniFi, isolated from operations, with bandwidth managed so a lobby or dining room full of guests does not slow down the business behind it.

Camera and entry systems

UniFi Protect camera systems and door access, installed and managed as part of the same network we already maintain.

Support on hospitality hours

Your business does not close at five. Our support arrangements account for evenings, weekends, and peak-season openings.

Already have an IT person?

You do not have to replace them to work with us

Often it means we work alongside them. Plenty of our clients keep an internal point person for day-to-day questions and bring us in for the security stack, the compliance work, and the escalations one person cannot cover alone. We will tell you honestly which parts you do not need us for.

If you are leaving another provider, we run a documented transition and request the handover materials directly, so it stays professional.

Hospitality questions we hear

If you take card payments, the standard applies to you. For most businesses it comes down to a yearly self-assessment questionnaire and proof that your network keeps payment systems separated and secured. We do the technical work behind those answers.

Usually, yes. POS vendors support their terminals and software. The network they ride on, and its segmentation, is the property’s responsibility. That is the part we take on.

Yes. We schedule infrastructure work in shoulder seasons or slow hours and keep changes out of your peak times.

Yes. Cameras and entry systems are network devices, and it works better when the team that runs the network also runs them.

Yes. We already support properties in the Wasatch canyons and plan connectivity and remote management around mountain realities.
